Beach of Essaouira

The beach of Essaouira will take you to Essouirra, where you will have time to visit the Skala du Fort, an imposing fort famous for its rows of gigantic cannons facing the Atlantic Ocean.
Route :
You will be picked up at 07:30 from your hotel in Marrakech and drive to Essaouirra. On the way you will stop for a coffee break followed by a visit to a women’s Argan oil cooperative, then we will continue driving to Essouirra. You will have free time to visit the Skala du Fort, a fantastic fort that is famous for its rows of gigantic guns that face the Atlantic Ocean. You can visit the municipal market, lunch in the medina, visit the jewelers’ quarter and discover the exquisite Moroccan handicrafts in the medina. The Medina of Essaouria is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can also take a walk along the beach. Your tour ends with a stop at your hotel or the nearest starting point to Marrakech.

What to Bring

For Tizi Trekking you need to prepare as you would for walking in any mountain region; it can be warm and sunny during the day but the weather in the mountains can quickly change from sunshine to snow and cold winds (autumn through late spring). Please do not leave any rubbish behind you; carry out what you carry in.

Tizi trekking are tailored to match the season and your level of fitness. You have the choice of basing yourself in Berber Guesthouses, from where you can take daily walks, or you can Atlas Mule Trek for 2+ days. On mule treks you usually have the choice of staying in Berber Guesthouse/with families or wild camping in 2-person tents. In addition to regular packing, here is a Check List for Tizi trekking:
